In order to give as many children a game as possible in the 2009 season, we are fielding two teams in the Under 13 age group. This means a total of 4 league teams, and squads involving over 50 children.
In addition to this we are looking to involve matches against other clubs and schools, including friendlies in Newcastle and against local schools.
We are also looking to play an increasing number of the boys in adult cricket as well, in order to give them the best opportunities to learn and develop in their game - and in 2009, we are fielding a second league team for the first time. Thus we are fielding a second team in the Alnwick & District League, as well as a first team in the Northumberland League.
